Stackable Resistance Band Bar Set

A full gym in a bag: stack the bands, build the load

Every band ends in a steel spring clip and the bar has a loop at each end. Clip one band on for a warm-up, add more for a heavy set, and the load is dialed in about two seconds between sets. Five bands stack from warm-up to heavy.

Press, row and curl with the bar, or clip the bands straight to the handles, the ankle straps or the door anchor. The whole set packs into a bag about the size of a loaf of bread, so your gym lives in a drawer.

Everything in the box

Bar, handles, straps and anchor all arrive with the bands

The bar ships in two halves that screw together by hand into one straight bar. One end has a threaded spigot, the other a threaded socket, and a few turns later you are holding a barbell that came out of a bag.

Handles, ankle straps and a door anchor are in the same box, so the first workout starts the day it arrives.

2foam-grip handles
2padded ankle straps

1drawstring carry bag

Three ways to set it up

Same five bands. The attachment point is what changes the exercise.

Bar

Stand on the bands, press or curl the bar

Clip one or more bands into the loops at each end of the bar, stand on the free ends, and you have a barbell whose resistance rises as you push. Presses, curls, upright rows, squats.

Handles

Clip straight to the foam grips

Leave the bar in the bag. Each handle takes one or more bands, which is how you get chest flyes, lateral raises and single-arm work with an independent load on each side.

Straps

Ankle straps for lower-body work

The padded straps fasten above the ankle and take the same clips. Kickbacks, hip abduction, standing leg curls, with the pull line coming from the floor or from the door anchor.

Door anchor

Anchor at any height, in any room with a door

The included strap has a soft stopper on one end. Feed the stopper through the gap on the hinge side of the door at the height you want, close the door and latch it, and the stopper locks on the far side. The ring on your side takes the clips.

Choose a solid door that opens away from you, so every pull presses it shut, and you can row, press and pull down at the height that suits the exercise. No wall brackets, no drilling.

Built for the long haul

A thirty-second habit keeps the bands working session after session

Resistance tubes reward a little care, and the routine is quick. Five bands also mean you always have the next level ready.

  • Run each band through your fingers before a set. A smooth tube with a tight sleeve at each end is ready to go.
  • Swap in a fresh band when one shows wear. The other four keep the session going at full load.
  • Click every clip fully closed before you load it, and anchor low or to the side so the line of pull runs away from your face.
  • Store the set in its bag away from sun and radiators. Cool and dark keeps the rubber supple.
