A telescoping pole with a D-shaped grip and a wide rubber-ringed base. Stand it on the floor in front of your knees, beside the sofa, the bed or a garden bed, and push straight down on the grip to bring yourself up. Five height settings, no tools, and it stands on its own.
How it works
Plant it. Grip it. Push down.
The base sits flat on the floor and the pole stands up on its own, so the grip is waiting where a chair arm would be. Press the spring pin, slide the upper tube to one of five holes and let the pin click in. The grip then sits anywhere between 16.3 and 19.9 inches off the floor, which for most people is level with the top of a seated knee.

Set your height
Press the spring pin, slide the tube to the hole that puts the grip at your knee and let the pin click in.
Plant it flat
Stand the pole on the floor in front of you with the round base flat and one hand around the grip.
Push straight down
Press down through the grip and your leg and rise. Once you are up, carry on as usual.
